UPDATE

It seems that I may be a small silicon lottery winner with this CPU. After a long process of testing, I've managed to get the CPU STABLE at 4.5 GHz while only needing 1.256V. Unfortunately for me, I can't push the CPU much further due to air cooling restrictions.

Treat it to water and get it to 5Ghz @ 1.3v thumb.gif

4.5 is still really great at that voltage even more so.

Nice build man! thumb.gif

I've been back and forth about getting a loop going for it since it seems to be such a good overclocker. The only problem is that I'd want to get my Titan under water as well smile.gif

The rest of the parts came in and the build is progressing!

The last of the parts.

Mounted on the tray and ready for the CPU thumb.gif

The Noctua D14 is about 1/3 the size of the entire motherboard.

It looks like there should be just enough clearance for the Titan.

Looks good! thumb.gif I still bent the fan clips back to ensure that the Titan's weight doesn't bring it down onto the clips.

EVGA Backplate installed for some peace of mind.

Post Test Setup

Success!

I was going to stop here for the night, but I knew I wouldn't be able to rest until it was put "together". I got the motherboard tray mounted in the case and a bit of cable management done before bed.

I like it. Looks really beefy. I'm considering downsizing and getting this case.

I know my reply is a little bit late, but if anyone is having a similar issue: you can update the motherboard's BIOS without actually installing the CPU, by following this guide (Official ASUS Link).
