Add me to the 8800GTS (640MB) single card list. But I'm running faster than a GTX

@ warrior : nice gts clocks. whats ur 3dmark06 scores?

did anyone notice when oc'ing the gtx using rivatuner, the exact clocks aren't what it seems? like for me, using riva's built-in hardware monitoring, setting core clocks from 602 to 615 will always register core clock of 612 only in the monitoring, while setting mem clocks from 955 to 985 will always register mem clocks of 972 in the monitoring. same thing happens if i use atitool to oc, the hardware monitor still shows 612/972 no matter what number i choose in the specified range.

also, my gtx being a black pcb, would it have any effect on mem oc capability? for now my oc seems rather small, from stock 575/900 to 612/972 slightly unstable, crashing occasionally in 3DMark06. if i try 621/972, 612/999, 621/999 crashes occur much more frequently, probably only managed to successfully run 3dmark06 once for each and eveyrthing else hangs while running it, most of them time giving nv4_disp.dll errors (tho other BSODs have occurred as well). i am using the 97.92 drivers for 8800gtx. i just cannot understand why my clocks are so low compared to most if not all 8800gtxs im seeing oc'ed here, unless im THAT unlucky. i wld have just RMA'ed it if not bcoz im in Singapore, where the admin for RMA'ing is a lot more troublesome than those like in the US. anyone can shed some light on this? thanks.

btw, at 3.71GHz e6600 and 8800gtx @ 612/972 i get 11918 in 3DMark06. it that good? im worried is the cpu is stable only coz its vcore is 1.57v.

Hey I just ordered 2 EVGA 8800GTXes... And I am getting alittle paranoid that the 680W powersupply I got for them isn't gonna be enough. Any feedback?

Isn't it like Minimum 800W PSU for 2 GTX's SLI'ed? Not sure, but if you have another PSU with 30+ Amps on the 12v+ rails, why not use 2 PSUs? Hehe, just an idea! It has been done!

I have like another 400W sitting around but how do I use them both? I never understood how to set up a system with 2 PSUs
