I'd skip the tubing too, since you're using pastel dye. BUT , and this is only my opinion, I would skip the dye entirely in favor of the tube sleeving. No worries about gunking up your blocks, color fading, etc. That's just me, but i prefer to run straight distilled + biocide and nothing else. Less possible headaches that way. Either way, this is going to look awesome! thumb.gif

meh, the sleeving does look nice but that tone of blue with a space gray color (a BMW E90 color) should look killer. i say disregard the sleeving thumb.gif

There are some pics of the tubing in the first post just simple clear stuff nothing too fancy (but there is the ugly writing on the tubing :/ )

hmm this is actually going to be my very first time every using dyes in the loop and I have already bought the pastel. I was thinking of using the sleeve just to cover up the writing on the tygon tubing and then still running the color through the blocks and the res. I am going to see how well I can hid the writing first though before I put the sleeve on (if I do)

I agree with this, after I ordered them I wanted to change them to have a bit of grey in them as well would have looked really sharp imo.

Thanks for all the replys! It is always great to see people following along. The case is almost done being made and hopefully gets shipped out soon smile.gif

P R E - I N S T A L L A T I O N

Well I know the updates are slow and chances are most of the people that view this thread are from the Compact Splash Owners Club, but for the one or two people that arent I will try and bring you updates at least once a week biggrin.gif The case still isnt here nor is it shipped nor have we heard any news from Dwood lol. But I decided to mount everything and get it 90% prepared for when the case comes. This means mounting blocks, flushing rads, organizing everything. Enjoy

My Stash:

Bare GTX 670, Card is so small when it is just the PCB and so light :3 :

CPU block installed, GPU block installed, One tube installed biggrin.gif :

Basically what the rig will look like in Splash:

My current set up, Kinda lags but whatever tongue.gif :

I say keep the sleeving tubing. It will look better when you have cooling running through it.

I must say I am liking the sleeved tubing more and more but I do still have the Pastel Dye and I dont want to take away from that. I still remember your sleeved tubing from your Big Lian Li, Instantly made me want to do sleeved tubing every since! All of your builds have been such inspiration to me cheers.gif

It is a little laggy when opening up pages but I think I will just have to drop out one of the monitors lol. Laptop was never built to run surround (even if all the screens are different sizes)
