I was really really contemplating the 3970X which is the best out, but wasn't sure ended up on this one though, of course after reading about thermal issues with these I am having buyers remorse LMAO, BUT micro center has a 15 day return policy on CPU's open or not, so As long as long as it don't look or smell burnt I am ok. lol.
wasn;t sure If I wanted to maybe even go with a xenon proc. I wanted to go with the best, within some reason. mostly enthusiasts best.
Fantastic build, spec-wise. Even gold can look like the vomit of the contestant in a sushi-and-hotdog eating competition. Looking forward to your cable management, and such
i live in XX so its a good 40-45 mins though, DEF worth the drive, when I was in the navy I never knew about the one in fairfax, cant remember how far that was from VA beach though.
Unfortunately upon opening my new GTX TITAN, the card in the box was this:
HAHA jk, thats just an OLD AGP card I had lying around lmao
BUT
Here are all the pictures that I took after I was finished. Wish I had taken some as I went, but I am impatiant and had to control my self to keep from ripping apart all the boxes lol
Pics:
Well that is all of the pics I have for now, what do you all think?
P.S. I have to go back to the store to get my last 2 kits of RAM, as well as the GTX Titan, they only had one left in stock of the titan, and the ram was limit 2 per customer (dumb)
So should I buy another titan or something else? still need to find a good monitor thats 2560x1440 or so, x 2 ironically I don't want to spend 1K on two monitors, rather that go into the computer suggestions?

I would invest in two monitors. The titan has the muscle for it. And checking the OCN marketplace shows a few slightly used titans. You could get one later for cheaper if your one doesn't quite cut the mustard and your money is still burning a hole in your wallet
. Spending another $900+ on another titan doesn't seem like money well spent to me. But then, this is OCN...
