Big Typhoon - Page 2

Yah gives the Big Typhoon itself a bad reputation. Doesn't stand up to the name. its more the POS Typhoon compared to the actual one. Don't get the VX either, horror stories of the wieght sometimes causing the plastic bracket to snap and then your massive 1KG (think thats the weight) falls down onto your video card AND if your comp is sitll on after that, leaves your cpu running with no cooling WOOOO!

You don't have to scare me twice!! I would hate for that to happen . Ohh yeah, will I need the plastic mounts that are used on my current clip HS? Well, I told my grandpa that's what I wanted for Christmas and so he will get it for me along with the Sivlerstone 110cfm fan . I think my athlon will be nice and cooler.

Yah stick with the standard. And as for mounting the Big Typhoon, atleast on my two computers its been in, (yes I know my BT is a whore ) All I had to do was remove the two screws that held that plastic square mounting bracket for the stock heatsink, then you set the BT, and the H Bracket on and then the two screws that came with the BT go through the H bracket and into the holes that held the stock mounting bracket. Simple install so I didn't matter I split stuff all over my instructions
