I guess he is an iconic character like James Bond and thus never ages past a certain point. When the actor they get does they just replace him. Release staggered in EU by a day? Well at least you have me to test it day one and tell you if its a bug ridden nightmare like Double Agents PC release(lets hope not).
But now every time I get Fisher killed I won't be able to say 'Grrrrrrrr, see you at the party Richter!' in frustration anymore
The new guy will be great and honour the role, I'm sure. I watched some of the dev videos early on and he seemed to understand the role... It's gonna be wierd for Sam to have a new voice to start with though! I think release is staggered by 2/3 days actually. The US gets it on the 20th + it's the 23rd in the UK and Europe with Australia getting it on the 22nd. I'm sure it will be great though!
Ubisoft really dropped the ball a few of years back and seemed hell-bent on wrecking every decent title they had. GRAW, GRAW2, Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 &2 & SCDA were all REALLY buggy and pretty much unfinished PoS, but I think they've really tightened up their act. I really enjoyed GR:FS and Farcry 3 last year and they both pretty much worked from the get-go so I think I've got fingers crossed Blacklist will continue the trend!
It's looking good! I understand they have to cater to the run 'n gun console boys but it's nice to see the game based around stealth again! I hope the dev's played lot of SCCT and they bring a lot more of those ideas back, especially punishment for killing folks! Here's hoping!
