Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory had a very hardcore Spies vs Merc following until the servers for original Xbox games were shut down. People have been screaming for Spies vs Mercs done right since Double Agent was such a let down. So much so that a small group of people actually went about making a separate game based on the concept.
Whether people will take this game seriously or not is another matter, but the concept isn't as unpopular as you may think.

I'm simple implying the SC series, like all stealthy games, is focused on the campaign, multiplayer is only an addition and thus, devs should priotizes bug fixes in SP. MP balance should be dead last on their to-do list...but before DLCs should Ubi choose to do that route.
I also didn't realize SC multiplayer is considered competitive...correct me if I'm wrong but they don't have leagues/competitions for this game? Unless there's matchmaking, skill tiered, high levels of teamwork...I will never see it as being competitive.Edited by twitchyzero - 9/5/13 at 12:20pm
