Instead of buyng lots of smaller disks (12x250=3terabytes) you could buy 4 750GB perp rec Seagates, wich would be quieter and warm less.
Of course if one disk fails , you loose alot more files when using big disks.
How much storage do you need?
You must have a gazilion cd's and movies to need that much storage.....
