still yet you shouldn't be hitting that high of a temp, even w/ crap for airflow. what i'd look at doing until you got your BT *unless its already on the way* is take off your heatsink and clean it and reseat it w/ thermal paste, maybe even as5...

strange thing is....it has as5 on it already....i REALLY REALLY think its the fins that are clogged with alot of dust and its holding the heat in....its really nasty and i cant get to the fins because they are completely blocked by the fan and fan guards....the BT is being put on thursday night though

you might have put too little or too much AS5 on it. if you put too much you are creating a heat barrier where heat can't be transferred.

it was actually put on professionally by a friend in the pc business.....i built the pc but as far as installing the proc i was afraid too cause it was so expensive at that time.....but the new BT is going on thur so all should be well then....
