Max overclocking on 5200

Thread Starter
I have a ASUS 9520 with a NVIDIA 5200 chipset with 64-bit 128mb video ram...
I have overclocked the GPU from 250 to 305 and I have tested it using 3Dmark2005 and faced no problems...
Here are my scores:
speed|score
250 |241
305 |283
What do you think of the scores?
Should I overclock it any higher? My graphics card is passively cooled with a small heatsink and I do not have any fans near it....

Pls help me
Thanks
SJJ

You are probably best off if you just upgrade your graphics card. An ok 6600GT, Is only about $75 on Newegg right now, and you probably couldn't go wrong w/ a 7600GS/GT also... ($100/$125)

7600GS:

A word of thought: Dont OC passively cooled!

The problem is I'm too poor to buy a new card
And with this 5200 I'm able to play latest games like Half life2, Oblivion, Broken sword4, titan quest and many more...
But now i wanna try to play these games a higher graphics settings...
Some of these games lag a lot at the lowest settings too, so I wanna reduce the lag....

If I install 2 8cm fans just below the card to blow the heatsink and the ram, is it safe to overclock more?

The thing about overclocking is that you can only juice out at least two to three more frames per second in most games.. Now if you don't have the money for a new graphics card you are out of luck. Also filling out your information at the bottom would help us diagnose your problem better. Cpu bottlenecking can also restrain your graphics card from it's full potential. At that note i would advise download these drivers. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html .
This could help but your best bet is to buy a new computer or build your own.

Comparing a 6200 to a 5200 is like comparing "The Iron Giant", to a pebble...
