Ok so heres my dilema.
I just ordered and put together the following system:

Asus p4WDH Deluxe mb
Pentium core 2 duo e6400 2x 2.13ghz
1 GB geil value 800mhz DDR2 RAM
Saphire radeon x1600 256mb Graphic card (PCI-E)
Maxtor 250GB Sata HD

But when i power on, the pc starts up, i get 1 beep, but the monitor lights up, says "no signal" and goes back to sleep. If i unplug the monitor from my g.card and plug it in again, the monitor wakes up and again says "no signal" and goes back to sleep.I just cant get anything up on the monitor. Its a benq fp767. I dont have any idea whats wrong and would appreciate anyones help in getting my pc up and running. Thankyou.

Turn the computer off and "reseat" your graphics card. Also, make sure that you plug in the pci-x16 power cable into your card.

- Unhook all your Floppy Drives, Hard Drives, and Optical Drives, power it up. Does it work now?

- Check to see if you have each drive properly assigned as Master, Slave, or Cable Select. Ensure the floppy drive isn't hooked up backwards. (possible with some fdd) remember IDE0 is first then IDE1 (some have it as 1 and 2, but it's usually the BLUE one you hook your HDD to)

- If that doesn't work check all your power connections again. The 20/24/20+4 pin, and the 4 pin cables namely.

Past this point you'll need spare parts or know someone who you can borrow from.

- If they are all connected borrow some RAM and a Power Supply you know to be in good working order. Swap each out seperately and power on.

- If you can't get any try putting your RAM/PSU into another good working mobo to ensure it works.
