Request: sm8 horizontal psu mount bar

Would be a nice option to have a psu mount bar that can mount the psu horizontal instead of vertical for people running 2 rads top and bottom and using few drive bays up front =)

This is a great idea, can it even be accomplished with the room available?

TBH, I'm not sure how practical it would be. You would need a beefier support bar to support the weight which is doable, but then you would have up to 8" of PSU to deal with (plus cables) so it would almost always be in the way of something... (Bay devices, GPU's, etc)

I was referring to mounting it on its side, so the cable orientation would be horizontal to the bottom of the case. This way you could mount the PSU on its side and side mount a (480/360) radiator in a push or pull configuration.

Well the case has top panels for 480 top and bottom, if you use both and a bay res then a horizontal psu mount bar would be perfect. It would only take up the front bottom of the case where nothing is stored anyways.

As far as support 4 thumb screws secure the psu when mounting up top, the same psu bracket can work if it can attach to the bar, maybe a boxed in bar or 2 box rails connected
