There's plenty and they all work well on the board. What CPU will you be using?

Nah, not picky at all. I believe the older bioses had problems booting with RAM that needed 2.0v+ but the newer boards come with the newer bioses and boot fine. You could try some good DDR2 800 like the Corsair Dominator or the G. Skill HZs that I use... but they're sold out atm.

Dominator CAS 4 DDR2 800 are crap, so I'd highly advise you avoid those like the plague.

Now, for the P5B Deluxe I'd say the best next thing for it, would be the Super-Talent DDR2 800 ($255 AMIR) from newegg.com or Xtreem DDR2 800 ($305) from tankguys.com. And also Crucial DDR2 1000 ($309) from egg also.

Either one of those 3 choices will be great. But the G.Skill DDR2 800 HZ is the best IMO, except as soon as it goes in stock it's out of stock, it sells very fast.

And check that very first review you see on newegg.com site: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231065

To access systems specs click the "User CP" near the top of the screen and then go to System Information category and then click the Edit System Information link.

my votes for the crucial, ive got both the hz's by gskill and the crucial ballistic both of them in the ddr2 800 style and they both perform really well, my ballistic's just a little better, i think this is because the ballistic are D9GMH and the HZ's that i have are D9GCT which are just not quiet as good but still really good ram

I'm pretty sure the HZ have D9GMH, so its just probably the luck of the draw. My crucial anniversary does however work good even thought its not being sold anymore. Too bad I got a bad E6300 that hits a wall around ~450 FSB even though my ram can run at DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8 NP.

I am using Patriot Extreme 6400. They work excellently. The timings out of the box (5-5-5-15) were sloppy and rendered the RAM unstable above 415. Once I tightened them to 4-4-4-12 things were smooooooth.
Right now I am at 4-4-4-8 @ 440, but my understanding is that -12 is preferable.
