ASUS P5B Delux RAM - Page 2

I'm pretty sure the HZ have D9GMH, so its just probably the luck of the draw. My crucial anniversary does however work good even thought its not being sold anymore. Too bad I got a bad E6300 that hits a wall around ~450 FSB even though my ram can run at DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8 NP.
like i said i have both sets, i have removed the heatspreaders off both of them and that is what my chips are

What version of G.Skill you have? Did you buy before July?

Can yours brake the 1000mhz? And here's the RAM list for the G.Skill HZ: http://ramlist.ath.cx/ddr2/

these are the guys i got, i ordered them on 06NOV06 so got them a couple days later, i havnt gotten them above 500 allthough i am sure they can its jsut i havnt tried running any dividers to get them that high, i run 1:1 all the time at like 475-480 and they do that just fine, i may do some testing later on with them but recently ive been messing with my ballistics

My vote is for G.SKILL HZ. I only have a 1gb stick, but right now at 5-5-5-12 I am at 999mhz (518 with 3/5 divider). I think if I raise the Vdimm, I might be able to get the CAS to 4, but 5-5-5-12 isn't bad at all for pc6400 running at pc8500 speeds.

So far, very pleased

K, I just turned the PC off and pulled one of my modules and carefully I lifted the end of the heat-spreader to check out the IC and guess what?:
D9GMH

Why you have D9GTC? If you remove the heat-spreaders, can you take a pic showing the D9GTC ICs?

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a thing to maybe worry about it. I already asked.

Have you tried to push them at 1000mhz on a 4-4-4-8 @ 2.30V? I'm asking because I'm thinking 4GB for when Vista comes around so maybe I'll go for another 2GB kit "if" the CT can do it.

You could try and look for the Crucial 10th Anniverary Edition 2GB kit. It is DDR2 667 and OCs insanely on the P5B deluxe. (I know because I have it). It is not going to run you $300-$400 either. Then you can save money to put into something else.
