Yes, 2GB of vram is more than enough for your ancient games. You are missing the point of the thread.

Wow, so many harsh comments, yet no one puts any effort into trying to get some data from a lesser endowed card.

What a bunch of ungrateful self indulgent jerks.

My last update, as i am not taking this crap any longer.

My card really struggled with Crysis 2 at 1440p, but there was no Vram wall, however 18-40FPS is not a nice framerate.

GTX 670 with 2GB Vram

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2012/11/12/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-670-2gb-review/4

This is a fly by benchmark, so minimum FPS is taken as the bench starts.

In a year or two we will see flagship cards with 3-4 GB of VRAM. I expect 1920x1080 to be outdated by then.

There may be no increase in performance, but as soon as that VRAM runs out you'll be looking at near single digit frames.

The more VRAM the better, but in most cases 2GB is enough for most games, unless, like me, you run titles like Skyrim with a vast number of texture modifications. Then you're at the borderline.

2GB won't be enough in the near future though i'd wager.

Hardest hitting Vram games ive played in order are...

1. Max payne 3 at 1080i with everything turned up it takes a poop on 2gb of vram useing upwards of 2600
And was a 15 - 30 fps slide show on 3 Gtx 680s i had at the time.

2. Tomb raider at 1080i with everything turned can very easy reach 2500mb vram

3. Crysis 3 with things turned up can reach 2.3gb

4. modded Skyrim can hit upwards of 2500 Vram
