Thanks. I'm still getting use to talking in front of a camera. It's a bit awkward. I'll be doing another review of my Dell U3011 soon.

Is there any noticeable input lag/ghosting on the U3011? From what I've read it's not a particularly good monitor for gaming.

Nice way to show the U2713HM. thumb.gif

Like AndyM95 said come over to the Dell U2713HM: 2560x1440 Semi-Glossy IPS Club and join us.

You'll find that we are a pretty discerning club that only expects nothing shy of monitors that are flawless and doesn't display any back light bleed when gaming, watching movies or regular desktop use.

QA these days seem to be impossible from ANY vendor anymore. Dell offers the ability for us to dissect our monitors taking advantage of advanced cross free shipping / return free shipping with their premium panel guarantee. No hasel and they don't drop the ball through the entire exchange procedure.

For those new to this monitor may also come to the U2713HM club to read the stories and proof for yourself if your thinking about a 2560 x 1440 resolution monitor. Dell keeps offering deep discounts if your patient. Just this weekend it was going for $549.98. I picked mine up a few weeks ago for $585.98!

I personally feel this monitor is amazing too. smile.gif

I'll have to check that out. Though this monitor is technically for my girlfriend. Honestly, when I first got the U3011 I did notice some input lag but never much ghosting. Then again I don't play too many fps games just mostly rpg and rts games. After over a year of use you stop noticing it. The sheer beauty of a 1600p monitor kind of overrules its flaws. Haha

The U2713H is a 10-bit wide gamut used for professional use for those needing 100% use of the sRGB color spectrum vs the U2713HM which is an 8-bit standard gamut made for multimedia, gaming, watching blu-ray movies.

HM has no visible overshoot, ghosting when gaming and one of the few monitors capable of external blu-ray hookup via HDMI cable at native 24 Hz 1080p for judder free blu-ray. No need to over clock your monitor for internal blu-ray playback. Pre-factory individually color calibrated. Hook up external gaming console like PS3 or Xbox via HDMI cable as well. Easy to switch back and forth with On Screen Display that's simply easy to use. Check out PCmonitors.info for thier review that also includes a video that shows how easy it is switching pre-set colors and inputs. smile.gif
