Alienware Alienware™ Aurora™ R4.. Upgrading Video Cards to GTX-780 SLI - Page 16

I'd get x1 780GTX and then go on holiday and enjoy life rather than enjoying a few FPS extra which can't even be seen by the human eye or over the max refresh rate of your monitor.

I tossed in an extra fan, and installed my Creative Fatality Sound Card.

Everyone *****es about dells prices and what not but what you dont realize is OUR custom built pc's have warranties on every piece we buy and some are 30 to 60 days and if your lucky up to a year. Alienware on the other hand comes with a 3 yr warranty on the whole shabang. Can you say that about your custom rig???? NO.. So remember what people pay isnt just for hardware.. its for a warranty that far succeeds what we have. Kudos on finding a deal and being happy with your pc. thumb.gif

That's totally incorrect..All components in my builds have 1-3 year manufacturer warranty.

AND they cost less and are better quality than what Dell uses tongue.gif .

Obviously that NZXT PSU is total crap;I'd be getting a quality PSU ASAP.Silverstone gold 1200 is good.

I meant its parallel to the motherboard, and looks like its directing air onto the RAM and chipsets.
I was wondering if its suppose to be throwing air onto the mobo or pulling air up off it.
I think for assumption it throwing air down onto the ram is a good idea. Or rather is it suppose to be parallel like that?

Yes, the Fan is throwing Air onto the Motherboard. I also have a few plans that includes liquid cooled video cards, and a 360mm Cooling system :-)

There's a guy on Alienware Owners who has 2 GTX690's liquid cooled in his aurora.

I am looking at adding Dual GTX-780 SC with Waterblock, and a Koolance Exos all in one. I would have to remove the fins from the top of the case. I already did the measurements, and this all in one will fit. I am just not sure if a 360MM Radiator is enough for Dual GTX-780 SC.
