Not sure I can use a SSD SATA III on my MB.

Hello! I'm going to admit right now that I have a basic and very small grasp on how computers function, I can put one together okay but as far as knowing the details I'm lost. Can anyone please help me try and figure out if my MB will support a SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive? I have a MSI P67A-GD65, I mostly use my computer for gaming and the drive I have right now is so old that I don't trust it anymore. I greatly appreciate the help anyone can give me!
If I left some information out please just ask and I will post it promptly!

Yes your motherboard will accept SSD. smile.gif

Since this is your first SSD, I recommend looking at this site here on OCN.
It was written by one of our members and has everything you are looking for.
It covers type of drive to buy, maintenance, down to installation with various operating systems.
It will make your install easy,if your follow the directions. There are also videos included with various setups.
Enjoy your new drive when you get it thumb.gif

Hope this helps smile.gif
