Newegg usually has really good service. I don't personally have experience with it but I would expect it to be top notch and if there are any problems they are pretty quick to iron them out.

I know you may need to recalibrate the settings, but my concern is do you notice any offset of the on screen resolution at all? For me, dvi1 is perfectly centered, but when I plug in dvi2 its like the screen is shifted to the left just slightly. It reminds me of when we use VGA to adjust the horizontal, but since its digital there is no adjustment.

If you have any thoughts or advice, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.
Well since ultravorx never replied, can anyone here who does have the Westy monitor and uses it with a pc plug it into the DVI2 port? I am curious if you are getting the same quality picture in both connections.

Thanks!

sorry for the late response, my pc was inop for a while. There is no differance between dvi 1 and dvi 2 for me, both inputs give me great resolution.

I've read where some people had this problem, i think it was due to the firmware of the monitor. mine is 1.0 and i have no issues. check on the menu and see what firmware you have.

Well I just received my new Westy 37" and I must say it looks pretty nice . By the way, does anyone have some values for contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue and so on that they are using and have found to be overall good?

Looking good guys. Once I get my new rig built (when Intel drops the C2D and C2Q prices), my Westy 37w3 will become my Monitor. Right now it just handles the DVD and HD Cable signals as the old 6800GT and P4 can't handle the higher resolutions while gaming. April just can't come soon enough.

First off, I want to say thanks so much for the great pictures and reviews. I have been actively research/shopping for a LCD monitor with high resolution and an hdmi input for weeks. The westy looks amazing and I think I am going to pick one up after the superbowl. See my problem was that maybe 37" was just too big to do everyday things on like graphic design, code, or just plain surfing the web. I hope its not. I guess worse case scenario I can always just mount it on the wall and maybe that will give me enough space between the desk and the monitor. I wish this Westy TV/Monitor was 30" as I think that would be the perfect viewing size with 1900x1080 resolution. There really aren't that many options for a computer monitor with hdmi input. I saw that Benq just released a couple but they are only 24" and I was looking for something a little bigger.

Azreal13 you said you had the same concerns with using such a big monitor doing daily day to day things on it. So now that you have it what do you think? Can it be used daily to do work on and still be that close to such a big monitor? I would really be interested in to hearing what you think.
