1. you say: 'I will read every post so make sure you include that story', I am not sure what story? My location? That's the Netherlands, the province is Gelderland.
I read it all, and want to be added to your list biggrin.gif

2. I don't have a computer....that's why I want one. I am saving up to buy a house together with my girlfriend. We already saved some money, but I will remain strong and don't buy a computer with it, my gf would kill me.... tongue.gif
Any of the other prices would also be great. The case, the monitor, all is good.

3. I love you, I really love you wink.gif haha

I'm busy working lately, so I'm not very active here on OCN, but I will change that. From this day forward, I will be more active biggrin.gif

Thanks for this opportunity, and sorry if my english is bad.

1- Well... I did read it all, and from the tone of it you seem a bit blasé. tongue.gif

2- Well I'm a young student and this would allow me to not have to share my PC with my family aka. have my very own, but I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of people in this thread that need it more than I do.

3- I like your profile pic. I like Samsung memory too wink.gif

Good luck everyone!

Hopefully the first point is obvious, I'm not from mars but from a United Kingdom in the Atlantic ocean.

Well I recently upgraded my graphics card from a HD4850... with ANOTHER HD4850. Cost all of £28 but it really isn't the greatest set up. Aside from that I recently decided to start upgrading all my digital movie copies so I made an excel file of all the videos, dvds, games and Film/Tv files I had and started to go through them getting better copies. Unfortunately I didn't realise that by procrastinating when I was supposed to be digging through my mountains of coursework I was getting through the list VERY quickly!!!! Before I knew it I had 500Gb of upgraded content but alas... my internet got cut off! redface.gif

After racking my brains for excuses and guilt this weekend I decided honesty was the best policy so when I called up the University's IT services this morning I was ready to admit to all. However... they informed me that they weren't happy because some big wig had found me to be downloading Nacho Libre and if I deleted it they wouldn't have any more problems. So I deleted it and have my internet back and am now fairly worry free!!! I just need to get off OCN and do some coursework!!!

I have 18 entries and that isn't likely to change much unless people start thanking me when I offer help. I always seem to get the ungrateful ones biggrin.gif

Hi! rievhardt here and I'm your friendly OCN neighbor from the Philippines! biggrin.gif
a member of OCN since Feb 2012, has 236 post...the one that researched about the 7870 black screen issue
to be found here...http://www.overclock.net/t/1310654/amd-hd-78xx-problems-all-users-with-problems-please-post-here-we-want-amd-support-on-this-asap/200#post_18592217

and has 7 reps atm. (lacks 3rep for another entry)

I met 2 out of 3 on the requirements.

I have 6 entries as of now. (from the time I posted this)

I'm interested in the Samsung SA950 monitor, the CD Keys from the AMD Never Settle Bundle or the Mystery gift biggrin.gif

I am happy with my rig so I'm only entering for the prizes that i would actually use.

I really wanted the Samsung SA950 3D LED as my monitor when I built my rig but it was really out of my budget so I opted for another monitor which is an HP X2301 LED Sword instead which is about $366.79 less (when converted from the price here to US dollar).

my rig w/ a samsung dvd drive. (specs are in my sig)

I have a 7870 and I play in max settings all the time, i would be also taking up graphic editing classes this upcoming school year since I really wanted to have a clothing business as my main source of income because I wont be able to work full time as an employee now since I am the one that is left to take care of my mother and younger sister. My Father is away from home and my older brother got married early...

I've been making home cooking and selling it to neighbors and friends as my source of income as of now but the I dont really earn much from it since the orders are not everyday...
I wont be able to save up for my own future if this continues.

I assure you the monitor wont be put to waste.

Thank You Very Much! Shion314 for this wonderful opportunity and good luck to all participants biggrin.gif GLHF

Mad respect.

I'll be using the rig as a dedicated HTPC and Dolphin emulator  on the main TV. On downtime it'll be 24/7 folding of course smile.gif I'd probably upgrade the processor at some point to an i7 though. Other than that...entertaining stories. In the past year I've gone from having about no motivation to even finish school, having no life plan, and in general falling apart to traveling the world, continuing my degree, and starting my potential dream job this next Monday smile.gif

Lastly... have some beer:
http://imgur.com/gallery/D4hMG

Thanks dude! smile.gif

I believe I have 75 entries if calculated right. I had about 280 something rep before I was made staff.

Also, if I was to win I'd have things shipped my home in Seattle, not Slovenia.

1. I'm in the good ol' sunny Manila, located on one of the 7,000+ island of the Philippines. biggrin.gif

it's really nice down here, if you're looking for a nice tropical getaway you should consider coming down here! thumb.gif

Don't forget to bring lot's of sunblock with you, I was playing some soccer the other day and calling me sunburnt would be an understatement! tongue.gif

(Well worth it thought! wink.gif )

2. Well I'm not going to tell you that I come from a poor family or anything, the only reason I don't have a decent rig is because my parents won't buy me a decent gaming PC, the fact that I'm a overworked student doesn't really leave me any time to get a job unfortunately, so I try to get by 'gaming' (I'd use that term loosely considering just how 'powerful' rolleyes.gif my Mac Mini is) on my Mac Mini which has nothing more than Intel's HD 3000 which doesn't do much for anything nowadays really.

Sure I could have gotten it sent back and got a gaming PC for around $500 instead of this but it was a Christmas gift and it just wouldn't feel right. frown.gif

Funny story actually, my mother asked me for some advice on a computer, she was on Apple's website and she was looking at a couple of Macs, I suggested that she should get the base model 13" Macbook Pro (it was perfect for what she needed to do, so that's what I suggested she should get) she then went on to say that she didn't want to spend that much on a computer (the same person who spends $1000+ on handbags rolleyes.gif ) so I said that she should go with the base model Mac Mini instead as it was basically the desktop version of the 13" Macbook Pro.

Sure I could have built a better computer for the $600 or so that it was going to cost, but I realised that a Mac would be perfect for her knowing that it's simple, elegant and all that.

Fast forward to around the 20th of December, my dad stumbles in my room drunk and tells me that I got a Mac for Christmas and I should be happy and proceeded to go upstairs, at first I was like what did just happen? headscratch.giflachen.gif

Come Christmas day 2012, we unwrapped our presents and the moment I ripped off some of the gift wrapping on my present, I saw that all too familiar Apple logo and I was hmm what could this possibly be?

Well it was the same Mac Mini that I helped pick out for my mother (she didn't get one herself so she stuck with her crappy Dell Inspiron laptop) I was pretty happy as I've always had a soft spot for Macs as I couldn't help but be incredibly jealous when my friends would use their Macbook Pros at school while I typed on my absouletly powerful Toshiba laptop with its revolutionary, benchmark-busting Intel Pentium processor and 2GBs of RAM, did I mention it had the infamous Windows Vista? rolleyes.gif

So I was grateful, I couldn't be any happier as I finally had a Mac to call my own along with a Wireless Apple Keyboard, a Magic Trackpad and the remote, it was admittedly the most well designed computer I've ever seen in my life (well I haven't seen the Phantom 410 yet), I plugged it into my 32" 1080P TV and it booted up all fine and dandy, my parents were amazed by how good OSX looked (they're not very into computers).

After playing with OSX for a couple of weeks, I picked up a copy of Windows 7 and proceeded to install it on my Mac, I installed Modern Warfare 2 and a couple of games that I struggled to run on my Toshiba laptop's Intel GMA 4500MHD and to my delight they played a lot better and I was happy, well at least until I saw what my friend got for Christmas. rolleyes.gif

He got an amazing gaming rig, a watercooled i7-2600K running on a Maximus IV Extreme along with two (that's right two!) GTX 590's which were all watercooled, safe to say I got laughed at when I told him I got a Mac Mini for Christmas. redface.gif

To make me feel even worse, he proceded to fire up Crysis and turn the settings up as high as he could, first I was like:

wth.gif

Then:

drool.gif

Right after that I ended up staying at his place for the night so I could play Crysis! tongue.gif

Ever since that wonderful experience, I've been hooked on PC Gaming, but as you might have already noticed, my little Mac Mini isn't a top of the line gaming machine, to actually get 'playable' (and I use that term lossely again rolleyes.gif ) I had to drop settings down to their absolute lowest and 'play' (more like watch a slow motion film) it at 800*640.

So yeah, I would do anything for a decent gaming computer that I could call my own, something I could stay on, something that would let me enjoy the simple pleasure of turning up eveything to the absolute maximum without ever having to worry about the game in question turning into a slideshow (damn you Intel intergrated graphics! frown.gif ) and just something I can keep on modding and doing stuff with till it puts me in financial ruin. biggrin.gif

I'm sure there's lots of other people that could use your computer better than I could but if I do win it, I guarantee you that it'll go to a good home and I'll treat it well, (I will be turning up everything to the max but I'm sure it can handle it! wink.gif ) and don't worry I'll feed it games and driver updates as often as I can to keep it nice and healthy and running in tip top shape! thumb.gif

I know for a fact that beggars can't be choosers so if I do win anything at all, I'll be forever grateful to you and I'll pay it forward as soon as I can. thumb.gif

if I don't well all I can say is that your generosity is just:

In all seriousness I hope something really awesome happens to you in the near future, you deserve it! smile.gif

Edit:

For your entertainment, here's my current setup: redface.gif

Gotta love my ultra-high definition 19" Samsung with it's revolutionary capability to only fit one window! rolleyes.gif

Not to mention my monster gaming rig in my ultra small form factor Mac Mini that chokes on 3 year old games at 720P! thumb.gif

2). Im sick of my Phenom II setup, and recently rounded off my CM V6 screws on my heatsink. Currently too poor for a full rig, but literally just bought a new AX850 from OCN marketplace today for a Really good price. THe parts would just go to a new rig for me.

Basically, there is so much going wrong with my rig that i keep rectifying that i know its time for something new/Upgraded.

3). Your profile pic still strikes terror into my heart. lol

This is one of the better methods of competition but that math dazzles me lol.
