I'd like to be in! Thank you for the opportunity.

I'd love to win this as I'm going to be moving across the country soon for work and I currently cannot afford to take my rig with me frown.gif

1. I read the post and qualify under all catagories. im from mcallen, texas smile.gif
2. Your "backup rig" made my rig pee its pants lol, and my birthday is coming up on the 20th..... (hint, hint) But honestly i would love to have this rig as a primary for my self and pass down my current rig to my wife as the current one is getting ready to kick the bucket.
3.Im thinking that alot of these are going to be very sad stories or people begging to receive the computer i'll try to give you some amusement,
When i was around 15 i had met this girl who eventually became my Girlfriend we would hang out after school i'd go to her house and watch movies.... i was a virgin at the time, needless to say if you leave a couple of teens home alone stuff happens.. We started to mess around with each other and that led to having sex.. One afternoon we took the bus from school to her house, and she was pretty much grinding on me all the way there, I noticed the bus driver was looking at us but made nothing of it. As we exited the bus he tells her"tell your friend to cut it out or he can't come on this bus again"
we went inside her house after being locked out for 30mins or so(she forgot the key inside).
Things were getting hot and heavy and we started having sex so she got ontop and was going wild... suddenly she stops and asks me "did you hear that" I reply "no i didn't hear anything hurry up im going to XXX" We keep going and 30 seconds later the door swings open her mom is standing at the doorway and yells "(insert name here) what the faq are you doing!!!! put on some clothes and go to the living room...."

we do im soo embarrassed as we sit on the couch in the living room the worst silence you could ever imaging between the 3 of us..... Now im thinking how am i going to get home.... hmm..... so i ask her mom, and she looks at me with the i can't believe you just asked me for a ride home after that.... the ride home was the worst. nothing was said but thanks for the ride home.

That is the single most worst thing that has ever happened to me and it will forever remain in my brain......

Thanks for the opportunity and your generosity OP biggrin.gif

i think the math is correct and it made me sad frown.gif rep 1+ time 2+ posts 4 =7?

I'm a hardware nut without the means to have the hardware I want. I love outdoing my friends, but I can't. All the buddies with the 7970s and the Core i somethings just blow me out of the water. I can't even compete. I'd like to be up there with my fellow brethren, as much as I believe 775 was the best thing to happen to Intel this past decade. Maxing out games and doing water cooling stuffs is neato, too, and an experience I'm missing with my current build.

Oh my I would love some of these. Your backup rig would go to my sister, who is running a 6870 and a 1090t. (but I would swap out those 680s for my 670s!). And oh my I would love to get rid of my ugly EKWB CSQ 680 blocks and replace them with some proper looking blocks. While I really like and my modded Phantom, an 820 is too tempting.
And that monitor looks nice too. I have no need for the laptop ram unfortunately, but I have 4 slots open for more samsung ram!
I am located in the most glorious mountains of new hampshire.

MYSTERY PRIZE? WELL THEN I'LL JUST GET CREATIVE.

First, thank you for doing this. It's awesome to think that this many goodies are going to be given away to some well deserving OCN'ers smile.gif. Also, I like the system for deriving the entries (I'm a math nerd, and it rewards active and helpful members the most)

I live around Allentown, Pennsylvania by the way (I'm a dangus, excuse me)

Now about that story:

I would really like to get the backup computer or the NZXT Phantom 820. I consider myself a bit of a NZXT fanboy, as I love all their cases. I would like the 820 most of all because of an unfortunate even that happened to me several times, and I'm sure has happened to many OCN'ers too. When I bought my Samsung 830 128GB the 840 series was anounced. When I bought my Seasonic x750, NZXT came out with the Hale 90 v2 (Literally met every specification I wanted - White, completely modular, 80+ gold). And the most painful of occasions was with my NZXT phantom. The day it came in the mail the infamous 820 was anounced (Sort of like their current thing at nzxt.com/shh). I was heartbroken. So now I'm very pleased to have the oppurtunity to win the 820 or the 810 - though any of the prizes would be KILLER to get.

Again, thank you for the opportunity. I'm very excited, and I hope this can be one heck of a giveaway. I'm sure you'll make many OCN'ers very happy. Thanks!

In, thanks so much for this, it's ridiculously generous biggrin.gif
So you know I read the OP, as of posting this I get (32+1+(10+14))=57 entries (I think lmao). I already have the main proof somewhere in this post (trying not to give it away to other people tongue.gif)
I'd like to win because that was the hardest maths I've had to do in 2 years, now my brain hurts, it would be nice to have some new hardware to numb the pain wink.gif
Thanks again!

I'm fat, ugly, poor. Your backup rig is miles better than mine.....The End.
My rig is getting pretty darn old too. I could really use some new hardware to mod on. I am amazed at your generosity here. Absolutely incredible. I haven't had enough money to put into a decent rig in quite a while, and financially I'm in a pretty deep hole. It'd be good to have a better system for gaming on, and to show off my modding skills with. And I'd especially like to do some water cooling. Mystery prize? Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure it'll be cool too. thumb.gif
post #30 of 301
I read the full OP and my location is shown under my avatar (TX).
I want to enter the giveaway because I want to get back into PC gaming but currently all I have is the HD3000 in my cpu lol. My gpu's over the years have been 5600le->9700 pro->6600gt->x800pro->7800gt->7950GX2->8800GTX->8800GTX SLI->GTX 285->GTX 480->GTX 580->GTX 580 3GB->GTX 280->HD3000 lol. If I win a non-gpu, I'm sure I could still put it to good use. The monitor in the op would be great for even general pc usage. I'm hoping that the mystery prize is a gpu though (hence the name of my sig rig). Also, my favorite color is blue.
