Kingston HyperX Blu (1X4GB) or Corsair (2X2GB) suggestions ??

Hi, first of all i will say that my motherboard is ASRock G41-CS which means it has two slots of Ram Memory up to 8GB and now i'm actually running 4GB in dual-channel, one stick is A-Data 2GB DDR3 1333MHz and another is Apacer 2GB DDR3 1333MHz but it seems that Apacer ram memory is going to die soon because it gives to me random crashes and BSOD's after two years of using it and the A-data one i will sell it because i want to buy 4GB from the same brand but now i can't really choose which one to buy Corsair 4GB (2X2) 1333MHz classic edition no dominator or vengeance or Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (1X4) 1600MHz ! I've seen in some sites that ram memory will run more faster in dual-channel than the single-channel but if i buy corsair 2x2GB then i can't add another 4GB in the future to make it 8GB so please tell me what to do which one you think is a better deal ?

- Kingston is 28 Euro
- Corsair is 33 Euro

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!

to get the most out of your RAM it is better for dual channel but iirc tom's hardware did some testing a few years back and the difference was ~5% when benchmarking; not really a deal breaker. go for the hyper BLU.

If you think you will upgrade to 8gb ram in the next month or so then yeah, its probably worth buying the single stick. If this is an upgrade that is a year out then i would go with 2x2

considering the kingston is faster and cheaper... well that makes it easier to choose that one

Thank you both for the fast replays but i got just one another question for you about Kingston HyperX Blu 1600mhz, so my question is that does "1600mhz with timings 9-9-9-24" on a 1333mhz capabale motherboard will run with "1333mhz and timings 8-8-8-24" or with the same timings as it is with 1600mhz ? Thanks!

you ought to be able to tighten the timings with a lower speed ie. 1600/9-9-9-24 to 1333/8-8-8-21.

also the motherboard might handle the faster (1600) RAM. there are a few options to explore/play with.
