http://prntscr.com/1qnk6d 5770 (It was a very brief test but it's constant every time I test it)

I can't see the ATI driver in the 5770 screenshot. Is it not even installed? There's a VGA driver mentioned in the list. Did you just run Windows with the built-in 2D graphics driver?

true 1000hz doesn't exist It's just some bs for TV's with frame duplication to reduce motion blur =/

A good 120/144hz screen would destroy it in comparison especially with 2D lightboost enabled.

I meant it feels worse than using mouse at 125hz - 8ms

No, I had the latest catalyst installed. ATI doesn't seen to have a kernal from what I've seen.

Any ATI card afaik. old nvidia drivers can't be good in comparision. I don't know what you want to run on your PC. Using the dodgiest modded copy of cod4 ive pushed 1000 fps on COD4 on a 5770 (to run up countdown mountain rofl). but don't expect to run planetside 2, that being said planetside 2 is the single worst optimized game I've every played, I thought BF3 was pure cancer until I played PS2 and died a little inside.

tl:dr: 5770 is confirmed for perfect game play but doesn't have too much grunt. Seeing as all 99.9% of issues are driver based one would assume the 7 series would be a good option.

Cool I'll see about snagging a 7970 to test. I just hate the stock cooler on those, so loud lmao.

I've lost track with ATI's naming convention these days =c I stopped following them after the latency scandle and now I'm sat here with an unhealthy dose of humble pie
