Fx 8320 wattage problem

Thread Starter
I just picked up an fx 8320 and noticed in cpuid hardware monitor that my wattage under powers/pacages jumps from 64 watts to 148 watts.I thought the unit only was a wattage of 125.Does this mean I have a faulty cpu?
My specs are switch 810 case,64gb ssd now,hd 5770,*GB kingston ram,Hydro H50 cooler.

Ignore any software reading of volts, amp or wattage, the only reliable way of know is by using a multimeter.

Also TDP does not indicate how much power a CPU will use but how much the heatsink has to deal with.
TDP stands for Thermal Power Design.
