Sorry offset noob. How do you do + 45 on volts o.O
post #83 of 140
change it from manual voltage to offset mode / then you might have the option to set it to negative or positive / then dial in your 45 offset.

Dude I'm in the same boat... 1.35+v (around 1.37-1.39) for 4.5 on my 3570k

I do 4.5 @ 1.18-20

Same here, seems we are pretty lucky with the lottery compared to others

4.4 @ 1.256v Temp of 78c
or
4.2 @ 1.162v Temp of 65c

still not sure if I want to stick with 4.4 or go with 4.2 for the better temps?

EDIT: All temps are on air 100% load (Coolermaster V8 with a NF-F12 pwm fan put in side it)

idle never goes above 30c....

What about a compromise of 4.3GHz? Also delidding could possibly help with reducing the temps, although I don't know by how much as I hear the V8 isn't the best cooler in existence.

you must have too much paste on or something..
4.4 @ 1.256v Temp of 68C max for me with less of a CPU cooler.
I do have dual push / pull fans though.

im doing 4.5 at 1.2v max temp under load is 60... able to push to 4.7 on 1.255 but given the ambient temp here is about 30-33, i prefer to run it at 4.5 for daily use.... not sure if the batch number helps but if you guys need, its 3242c653
