The FX-6350 and FX-4350 AMD brings Speedbumps called in the trade, which offer slightly more power than their predecessors and are sorted into the 125-watt class. The test of the two favorable FX shows how to quickly and efficiently convert them.

FX 4350 and FX 6350 higher clocks does not mean they are rebrand for FX 4300 and FX 6300 it also features Piledriver+ cores as I predicted months ago. Look at the benchmarks people!

The performance/watt ratio ain't doing much good for these processors. Why are they rated 125W again? The 8350 I could understand but these low end chips?

FX 4350/FX 6350 have higher clocks and revised Piledriver core's.

FX 4350 has more cache than FX 4300 while power consumption is only up by 4-9 watts while having very noticeable performance gain over FX 4300...

Pretty decent, but I want to see a clock to clock comparsion between the 6300 and 6350 and the difference OC vs. OC.

I don't see the advantage of these over their previous parts. It doesn't look like their was much improvement if any with the increased cache sizes. The increase in numbers seems to come solely from the increase in clock speed.

Hmmm, that 6350 at 3.9Ghz is still losing to an x6 1100T at 3.3Ghz in most benches.

If only we were looking at the same benchmarks because the ones vampirr posted disprove your claims.

Pointless comparison as their IPC is the same.

New FX-4350 (8MB L3 cache like FX-4100 series) and FX-6350 125W TDP Reviewed @ PCGamesHardware Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Google Translate link Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Quote:
Model Modules Base clock Turbo / max. Turbo L2 cache L3 cache NB-clock RAM TDP
FX-8350 4 4.0 GHz 4.1 GHz / 4.2 GHz 8 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.2 GHz DDR3-1866 125 watts
FX-8320 4 3.5 GHz 3.7 GHz / 4.0 GHz 8 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.2 GHz DDR3-1866 125 watts
FX 8300 4 3.3 GHz 3.5 GHz / 3.9 GHz 8 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.0 GHz DDR3-1866 95 Watt
FX-6350 3 3.9 GHz 4.0 GHz / 4.2 GHz 6 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.2 GHz DDR3-1866 125 watts
FX-6300 3 3.5 GHz 3.8 GHz / 4.1 GHz 6 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.0 GHz DDR3-1866 95 Watt
FX-4350 2 4.2 GHz 4.3 GHz / 4.3 GHz 4 MiByte 8 MiByte 2.2 GHz DDR3-1866 125 watts
FX 4300 2 3.8 GHz 3.9 GHz / 4.0 GHz 4 MiByte 4 MiByte 2.0 GHz DDR3-1866 95 Watt

125W TDP is not power consumption but thermal design power (is the maximum thermal power the processor will
dissipate, but not the same as the maximum power the processor can consume). New FX-4350 and FX-6350 have higher
clock speeds and higher turbo. Plus FX-4350 has more L2 cache.
