Maybe, maybe not.

Intel isn't actually shipping these in the order they were placed, I'm sure they're shipping them in some random order but NOT the order placement.

During the first few days I saw about 20 or so Canadian folks get their chips shipped about 3 days before me, and because of a weird bug during the first hour or so ONLY US users could get the deal. As such that would've mean not a single Canadian beat my order which was placed in the first 2-3 minutes or so, but plenty of them had orders shipped before me.

Maybe Intel was making it up to them, since some couldn't get the free kb/m, and started shipping some of their orders first but with that said you can't really be sure Intel is shipping them in the correct order.

BTW in my own case HT costs me about 12C in temps and highest I could get without going past 75C on my D14 with it on was 4.2, with HT off I'm at 4.5 with 1.374 never going past 72C so I still have room to play with and maybe hit 4.6 or even 4.7. (though the volts for 4.7 from what I see can become wall where air usually hit's it's limits)

Just want to let future 3930k owners about my personal experience with temps on these babies, HT didn't really help me that much since I had 6 powerful cores and BF3 reacted better @ 4.5 HT off than 4.2 HT on with my Titan. thumb.gif
