since I was late on the deal but due to 'collateral offerings' from deals like this,
I was able to bag a 2700K for (well under $200..wink.gif)
and I'm rolling with that for my Surround rig.

Weeeeeell while a lot of people are waiting on their new CPU, Any suggestions on a motherboard? I'm still AM3+ till my i7 gets here so I need to get a new socket. My budget is around $200 and I prefer Asus because I like features like fan xpert 2 and Wifi go. Does anybody have any input for me? So far I have been liking the P8Z77-V. Would it be worth it to save a little more and go bigger? Thaaanks smile.gif

You're not allowed to sell them but, of course, it doesn't stop people from doing so. That's why there's been such a dip in the price of the 3930K recently. Albeit that Haswell effected it, also, but after this program went into effect, they dropped from around $600 to under $400 now.

If you get caught trying to sell them, it violates the TOS but as far as I know, the worst they'll do is boot you from the program and not allow you to use it anymore.

I found a like new Asus maxim us formula for my 3770k for sub 200 so that's definitely an option and every review I could find said short of the extreme from Asus it is one of if not the best z77 board

I wish Ivy bridge-E was released at the same time as Haswell. So that they could bring out x89 boards for 2011. I don't really want to spend 350$ on a Sabertooth x79 when a newer version might be released this fall.

I was just wondering seen as how the 3930k costs £100 under that program, but brand new they are just under £500. Im not eligible for the programme but wish I was, its so cheap
