Case is your own taste

Otherwise, we're on the same page, with the exception of the video card. If you can afford it, take at least a look at a 7900GS:
eVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB GDDR3 $179.99 - $20MIR. Quite a difference in performance.

And if you plan to overclock, do add an aftermarked CPU cooler. That's up to you however.

Finally, in my proposed build I linked a little cable. That's what you need to connect the computer to the sound system you have , provided the sound system has RCA connectors. You can pick up a cable like that at any local Radioshack

Cases is a matter of taste on looks. I like clean looking cases, without too much show.

The black tsunami is a nice case, and Thermaltake has a good reputation for cases

New rig specs I have the tower DVD player/burner CD rom case and a 3.5 floppy I also have a Samsung hard drive from the computer before but I dont know wiether or not it can be used info on it says

Samsung 120 GB PALO?whats that?

Would it work and if so that would save me a TONNN! bc the hard drive still has the OS on it and all !! YAY! If it still works that is.
