OCN N2OC | Haswell Launch Party UK | 2nd of June - Page 18

I am home, showered, shaved and feel a little bit human smile.gif

Thankyou VERY VERY much to:

Will, for the venue and the late night + early morning combos, with not one single complaint or grouchy moment

Nick & OCN for supporting it, paying for LN2 etc

Gigabyte for the boards and CPUs.

Ollie and his mum, for letting me crash at their house and eat all their food.

Rich for the lifts

and everyone else for being awesome biggrin.gif

Great to see "everyone" again and finally meet George. Seeing G4S again with an unexpected but very welcome bonus smile.gif

Smokin Waffles.... welcome to OC biggrin.gif

I'd like to say thank you to El Gappo for making this event possible and all the hard work he does so the rest of us gets to play with brand new hardware!

Here's my photos from the event. Some came out abit grainy.

This should be fun! Latest Gigabyte boards!

A couple of Haswell chips, my #4 chip.

The board I used.

My daily rig before I teared it down for Haswell fun.

The new Z87X-OC next to my UP7

Sorted some insulation out and got clocking.

The boiling LN2 shot

SmokinWaffle turned up and started on some 775 hardware

Cold bug was right on -124C, it turned off so grabbed the camera!

SmokinWaffle got bored of 775 and Ivy so joined in with some Haswell and did pretty well!

My setup building up some ice.

SmokinWaffle pouring LN2

Dave's rig

Finally the beautiful Scooter! Thanks again for the pot!

Images here in high res and in a zip.

Great pictures Will! Outstanding quality!

Come along next time d1nky, there are always trains & driving if it's not close, I traveled close to 4 hours on the train and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Just submitted my wPrime 32M 4770k score, 2nd place, only beaten by Will and his magic chip who was sitting behind me! tongue.gif

This, but not to the extent I had my RAM set I don't think. That was just me being a noobie and playing around more than anything, redface.gif

Wills #1 WPrime 32M run was running his RAM @ 2600MHz, so the silly slow RAM is my doing entirely. biggrin.gif

Sadly I didn't get to see it really fly, nor did I get to see if Scooter's 480 did the job, how did it go?
