i second tomb raider.

also if you enjoy modern warfare (tanks, planes, helos, etc), you might want to checkout wargame:european escalation or the upcoming wargame:airland battle.
if you like sprawling battles of a more medieval nature, check out shogun 2 or the upcoming rome 2.
looking into different game genres might ignite your interest. just some tips coming from a 43 year old gamer smile.gif

cheers

at 56 I,m still playing but what makes it fun is the group of guys I,m playing with, we.ve been a clan for 15+ years use ventrillo to game and give each other a hard way to go whether in a game or just shooting the breeze, started out playing cfs1 and most of us have been around since some come and go but that's life, currently playing black ops 2 if you have the game send me a pm and I,ll send you a link to our ventrillo, there isn't any kids or ladies just a bunch of older guys kicking back, only 2 rules no cheats and no racism,

The Bioshock games should be at the top of your list imo. Infinite was no less than mindblowing, however I suggest the first one before playing it

I'm not one really for story SP games... but FC3 was damn awesome.

It was so far from a generic FPS!

As you get older your interests start to mature out and change. I went from gaming 8+ hours a day to gaming less than 2 hours every two weeks now.

Once that you've played enough games you've pretty much played them all.

Most of the games being released now are rehashes of older games or lack originality.

The only game that I'm looking forward to is a PS3 games called The Last Of Us and the sequal to Heavy Rain and maybe 1-2 other games and even than I'm not as excited as I used to be when I was younger (24 now).

I have the same problem man, i used to be able to sit down with a mediocre game and play it start to finish and play for hours at a time but now a days for me to play like that the game has to be a pretty amazing SP, and for me to get into online play i usually have to play with friends. This has resulted in my gaming time decreasing massively, now i only play games on weekend for a 2-3 hours total. I still consider myself a gamer and love high end computing. Having a soon-to-be wife to spend time with (gettin married next week) and working 12hr days (im an engineer) and trying to maintain fitness which adds another 1.5-2 hrs at night means i leave home at 5.30am and get home at 7.30pm. by the time im showered, fed, spent time with the missus, its bed time.

so my suggestion is, only spend time on games you really enjoy both by yourself and with your friends, and dont bother with the rest of them. If this frees up time for you, take up another hobby or do some excercise. or work more hours and gets mores moneyz wink.gif

my 2 cents, do with it what you will.
