We need m-atx cases with 5 pci slots, especially since Gigabyte will not conform to lay out the slots like other m-atx mobos. I'm starting to wonder how popular running Crossfire & SLI on m-atx mobos are thinking.gif

prob not much lol. it could also be somthing else. What if you want to use a PCI-E 3.0 SSD and a GPU? you can do that on the Sniper M series. i do however think there are a good number of people who buy mATX for their price and don't use mATX cases.

My favorite feature of the Maximus VI Gene is the 8 SATA ports smile.gif

In my case, I have a do-it-all PC with a bunch of hard drives.

OOOOOOOOOOOOK, back to mITX now. cheers.gif

Any new tech from board builders? Anything beyond these two so far?

Thanks - T

Asrock Mini ITX, not too impressed with the layout of this board.

It looks like Asus is the only itx board that got the layout somewhat right with the 24pin, 8pin, and 2 of the 6 SATA ports on the edge of the board.

Mmmm, that just might be it for me, however... I use straight-to-90 SATA in this CaseLabs S3 build I'm doing anyway, so the long, flowing arches of the cables coming down and under might just do it.

Very nice!

Keep 'em coming! poke.gif

Interesting... the 2nd pcie slot is only wired for 4x, meaning that this board will require a 5 slot chassis for sli.

Speaking of µATX, I hope Gigabyte will have a D3H/UD3H board that has all the goodies of the ATX models, can't wait to see the Z87MX-D3H. smile.gif
