Wouldn't be the first logitech mouse. I think thats intended. To be still able to release a G1/G3/mx300 style mouse worth replacing. 1k polling. more DPI etc. I mean thats how it works. (Guess we all know that already)

Got my g100s today. Very good so far, fits me and the plastic feels good. (i.e not slippery or very heat-trapping) I do notice the click buttons have very pronounced sounds, it's that normal for all gaming mouses? tongue.gif

Is your right mousebutton more mushy then the left?
Or in other words, do they feel the same?

I can live with 500hz, maybe the horrible cord. But mousebuttons need to feel the same responsive clickyness for me.
If one is mushy "TTC" alike the mouse is worthless for me.

they feel pretty much the same, i'm sure of that. If it's mushy then it's a lemon for sure

Probably 90% of mice on the market have different click consistency per button due to switches usually never being symmetrically placed or aligned. Having said that, the clicks on the g100s are similar.

I just opened a new g9x a few minutes ago that I got on sale for dirt cheap (replaced a old broken one that I use occasionally) and the clicks aren't identical on this one, while they have been mostly identical on a previous g9x.

As long as 1 button aint mushy to press down, or both im fine.
Maybe ill try a G100s after all.

I wouldn't describe them as "mushy", but some people might. The travel distance feels like it might be slightly longer than that of a g9x and G400. I have a G9x, G100s, and G400 all sitting in front of me right now and just tested the clicks on all of them, the left and right clicks don't feel identical on any of these mice, so the mouse you're looking for might not even exist if you want identical click consistency.

All you have to do is open up a mouse and notice that the switches are placed in different spots (non-symmetrical) to know how it's gonna be.

Does anyone have a gram scale that they could weigh the g100s with?

I have conflicting reports of its weight (100+ grams, 80 grams), and I also conflicting reports on how much the weight inside it weighs (15 grams, 18 grams etc.)

It's so sad that all these companies can spend hundreds of woman-hours on designing new (usually crappy) mice, but writing accurate and comprehensive specification pages is too much to ask.
