[YT] Frame Rating and FCAT Explanation and Discussion with NVIDIA - Page 21

Lol it's amazing how its the Nvdia users (read fanboys) who are most upset about this. Unless you are paid by Nvdia to use their cards and try to bash other manufacturers I don't see what you would get out of coming into a thread on a topic that has zero effect on you and get so aggressive and upset. It really boggles the mind.

That's absurd and ridiculous.

Yeah, but I guess I'm somehow just a crazy fanboy.

i play BF3 a lot more than C3 or any other games. i was looking at the 670 s few weeks back and did my research. i don't need goggle. we happen to have a search feature that works for me. in the end i bought a 7970.

i was like . . . what? install and uninstall drivers in-between games? no way. then, like i asked before . . what if BF4 behaves the same way?

it does boggle the mind.
and once Radeon gets these self admitted framing issues solved their will be a real GPU war and all of US should benefit.

don't bash just encourage to hurry up and fix because in the meantime nVidia can do just about whatever they want.
stated, I'm an nVidia guy but one camp holding all the chips is not good for anyone.

That's odd. I assume you're referring to me since I've taken upon myself to spearhead the movement in this thread.

I haven't been "uspet" at all. In fact I've been called names and taunted without attacking anyone. I've just been saying things that a certain distinct group of people doesn't want to hear and I'm an "upset biased ignorant insane fanboy."

The reality is, it doesn't really require payment to bash other manufacturers.

Their metrics, statistics, and quantifiable data takes care of that by themselves.

Unless you're running the prototype review drivers, you're getting half the frame rate that you should by using Crossfire, regardless of how smooth it is or isn't.

The fact that you seem content and satisfied with that is fascinating.

I wonder that myself I ran all those games on the 690 as well and the experience is quite the same. I even have fraps on all the time and look for dips on fps but it's just not there. Now I know fraps is not the same tool that they use but it's just that smooth...Also, I never posted any frame rate issue not once in this forum....

Have you considered logging your system and sending your results to AMD itself and the multitude of review sites that have independently confirmed that the problem not only exists but is present in every single Crossfire Setup on the planet? I'm certain AMD would love some data to prove them wrong so they wouldn't have to waste so many resources trying to fix this mess.
