Help! nv4_disp.dll BSOD and other GFX erros!

Hi guys! I have an urgent problem. To cut the long story short, i just started a game of DOTA 2 and a few mins into the game, i got a nv4_disp.dll BSOD. I forced restarted my PC and i got errors as shown in the attached pictures. My GFX is an XFX Nvidia 8500GT running on Win XP 32bit SP3.

These are my system specs:
ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo
Intel E6600 @2.4Ghz (Stock)
2GB DDR2 800
XFX Nvidia 8500GT 256MB
Win XP Home 32bit

So the first thing i did was go into safe mode, uninstalled the drivers, used driver sweeper and reinstalled the latest Nvidia drivers. However, when i loaded Windows normally, i get the same error screens in the login page. I went to manually delete the drivers in system 32, clear the registrues, etc, and the same thing still happened in the end of the process.

Then i recalled a same issue happened a few months back and i did a System Restore and it worked. Hey presto! It worked! But after a few mins of using, the same issue happened. Whole PC hung, no BSOD, but when i restarted to boot Windows up normally, the same error screens in login. Having read through numerous forums, i then suspected it could be a Windows error.

After which, my problem still not yet resolved, i installed Win Vista 32bit on another partition on the same drive. All went well. After i installed the latest stable drivers, when i was trying to boot up to the login screen, just blank. The PC froze.

In all instances, i tried different versions of drivers. Latest, beta and even last years drivers. I ended up with the same result. In all instances, safe mode works fine but if i was trying to boot to normal Windows, this issue come up. I cannot even log in to Windows normally in both my XP and Vista. Any ideas guys? It it my mobo, ram or GFX that is giving me this problem? I really need help here guys...

Looks like an actual PCB fault, loose solder, or component.
Take the card out and look for loose components.

Yup, the card looks intact. Caps, everything all okay. Reseated components on board.

Update
Went to bake my old XFX 8800GTS 320MB. It now works as usual. I'll use it as per normal and update you guys on the situation. smile.gif

If baking worked then i was correct by saying there was a loose component as baking, puts the solder to melting point and melts the components back in! thumb.gif

Yup... Well, the baked card started to have problems now. I need a modern Nvidia card that is equivalent or the best when it come to my rig below.

Intel E6600
2GB DDR800
320MB HDD
800W PSU

Any modern cards? I dont wanna get a card to good and it will just be bottled necked by the CPU and RAM. Thanks.
