Shin Etsu X23-7762 / G751 vs Gelid Solutions GC-3

Thread Starter
Ordered a few of them from here for only £0.99, looks to be a good deal and the Shin etsu is actually pretty good TIM, will let you know how I get along.

While I'm at it should I order the Gelid Solutions GC-3 3.5g Extreme GC-Extreme Performance?

The worse thing about the G751 is how thick it is, not the easiest to apply while cool and on a cold chip; otherwise performance is pretty great with a solid application - I always tended to under apply on the first mount.

Put the syringe in a ziplock bag and run the bag under hot water or soak in a bowl of hot water. It should help.

I have to put my favor in the GC-3. I've personally used that TIM several times and it's definitely worth the price. I'd say it cools as well as the Shin Etsu since I've used 7783D a few times. tongue.gif
