In light of AMD’s latest memory release and Radeon RAMDisk push, I decided to take a look at the latest version 4.1.0 of the RAMDisk software to see what had changed since the last time I tested it out. Improved installation and logging along with a couple of new features are all part of the new RAMDisk software.

I've been waiting forever for a RAM Disk like this. I never even knew AMD made a RAM Disk program. This is great. I can now set aside some of my 16GB of RAM for this.

Pretty cool. I actually was researching this yesterday.

This update adds even more value to AMD's Gamer Series Memory, oh when I get money I am going to buy AMD CPU, GPU, RAM(branded) and other things that are non AMD.

Been using the radeon ramdisk for quite a while now and love it. Only have the free 4gb limited one but these updates make me want to get the premium and dedicate some more ram to it. I've got 16gb installed, 4gb dedicated to the ramdisk and I could probably dedicate another 2-4gb without feeling a difference in other tasks.

Having my browsers and main apps launch from a saved ramdisk is nice - way quicker than any SSD will ever be thumb.gif

This thing works with intel CPU's and non-AMD RAM? Wanted to buy 8 Gigs, but if this works might go with 16

Yes, Ramdisks don't care what platform it's on.
