Cheap Computer Build Help

Thread Starter
I've never had a desktop computer, but with my laptop starting to crap out on me (It wasn't the best but its been going to quite a few years now), I figure it's time for me to jump into the world of desktop PC. All I would be using it for would be League of Legends and Netflix, currently my laptop won't even run netflix anymore. I'm looking in the price range of 300-350. I have a monitor, os, mouse and keyboard, and 8GB of ram. Ive been on this site quite a few times over the years, but never really needed anymore important until recently. Please help!

How fast is the 8gb of RAM?

Post a build in a few minutes.

*edit* is it two individual sticks?

That's budget 1333mhz RAM I'm pretty sure.

Going to try a APU build, with the budget, then I'll try a dedicated(since I won't need to deal with RAM in the budget).

I could select a $10 cheaper motherboard combo, but it doesn't have heat sinked VRMs.

Use this promo code - BOOSTTHIRTY($30 off)

Case($30) - Antec NEW SOLUTION SERIES VSK-4000
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129187

Motherboard+APU($190) - AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz + GIGABYTE GA-F2A85X-D3H FM2 AMD A85X
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1320108

RAM($71) - G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231519

PSU($40) - CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 430W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026

HDD($60) - Western Digital WD Blue 500GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769

Total price - $360

*edit* forgot to add up the total price.

I'm kind of leaning to this one.

*edit* get the shoprunner trial for free shipping+faster shipping just REMEMBER to go "shoprunner.com" and turn auto-renew off. That's VERY important if you use the service.

*edit2* the CPU is actually cheaper through amazon, by 7 dollars.

You're welcome!

I assume you're going to use the build with the dedicated graphics card?
