New EVGA GTX680, boot-up freezes at BIOS screen??

Can someone please tell me why the hell I just put in a new GTX680 and my BIOS screen comes up then FREEZES...

I have to reset multiple times manually and sometimes I get LUCKY and the windows "loading" screen comes up.

This NEVER happened to me before and I literally just loaded up my new GTX680.

Could this be driver related?

I am connected via the white DVI-D cable and I removed my GTX570s, then installed my GTX680 and downloaded the drivers from the website.

I used the "perform clean install" option with the GTX570 drivers still on the computer, assuming this would erase everything cleanly.

Can someone please help?

This is the EVGA GTX680 I purchased:

Taking a look at the manual, Caution #5, you may want to consider installing the 680 in PCI-e slot #2.

With the freezing occurring outside of Windows, I don't really thing it's a driver issue. You are moving from nVidia to nVidia anyway.

Thanks for the response. I think I may have solved my own problem

I believe it is a new keyboard I just installed that is freezing the computer like that.
