hi guys! i finally received my g400 and it is AWSOME!! biggrin.gif
i am very excited with the mouse, very comfortable and good quality!
i just got a question, does the g400 has any issues with colorfull/printed mouse pads?
i found that http://steelseries.com/products/games/starcraft-ii/steelseries-qck-tychus-findlay-edition from a local store at 5 euros which is a great price, will i have any problems with that surface?

avoid such a colorful pad.. especially if you are gonna use your mouse at high dpi (800 is recommended for the g400).
a nice unicolored cloth pad is one of the best bases for optical mice.
look at this http://www.alternate.de/Sharkoon/Sharkoon+1337_Gaming_Mat_Black,_Mauspad/html/product/55684/?
its perfect and cheap.

800 is fine. the only prob: you might find the mouse too slippery at times.
you can install the logitech software btw, and i recommend polling rate 500hz.
