Does madVR work with any player (bsplayer) or just MPC?

Unfortunately, it's Windows only atm. MPC is a great player though.

(1) First of all you need to use a media player which supports using madVR as a renderer. Your choices are currently MPC-HC, Zoom Player, J.River Media Center 16, PotPlayer and KMPlayer.

It's Chromium with an integrated download accelerator, torrent client, video downloader/grabber, and social media sharer. Nuff said
Isn't that called bloatware? Isn't it better to use just Chromium as it's lighter?

Meh, if you use all of that, you could argue that it's the opposite. I'll admit I don't need the social media sharer, but running Torch instead of Chromium + Deluge + FDM/JDownloader + A video grabber extension is lighter.

But mostly, it's great for less tech savvy folk. Instead explaining how to use deluge, figuring out where it saves stuff, when to turn it off etc, I point them to Torch whenever they ask how to download a torrent. Because everyone and their dog uses Chrome now, and because Torch handles all the details, they catch on almost instantly. Then they figure out the video grabber and love it!

Udisk - A utility that allows you to host your iDevice as a server and then upload files onto the iDevice from a computer. The application I am using it for is hosting files for students that attend the high school I work at. They need an audiobook and I don't have e time to sync it to each of their devices, nor do I trust the rugrats with the iTunes account. I simply hand out the IP they can access and download the files from home. smile.gif

Great thread. It would be cool if all programs were in the OP in categories

Speedfan:

This allows you to set up your fans if the BIOS and/or manufacturers software is not giving you the ability to set up and control your fans as desired.

guide that explains some features of this program:
