ShellRunAs - Allows you to prompt for a different users credentials to do something with a simple right click
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/cc300361.aspx

Process Explorer - Can permanently replace your task manager if you'd like. It's 10x better than the standard task manager
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653

There's actually a lot of cool things that came out of Sysinternals. Microsoft owns them now

"bump"

I agree SysInternals has all kinds of awesome programs. Autoruns is one of my favorites by far. BgInfo is also extremely useful for a business environment. Sticking all the relevant info right on the desktop for when someone calls in for IT help is really helpful.

The entire list of SysInternals programs there is intimidating. Glad they put it all into one easy zip file. WHat a great trove of goodness. I got 3 of them already.

I just found this: http://www.adata-group.com/?action=ss_main&page=ss_software&lan=en
Adata calls it "Valuable Software"

Except for Norton and oddly chrome, there are some good ones there.

Piriform also has some great programs. I mostly use Ccleaner, but Speccy and Defraggler are great too!

For that matter, iobit makes some great programs similar to piriform. I use the Start Menu 8 and the Razer GameBooster from them

Also, on the file recovery front...

I've found none better than good ole Restoration.exe

http://download.cnet.com/Restoration/3000-2094_4-10322950.html

This thing has brought back files that paid programs wouldn't touch. Best part is no install required to use (flash drive friendly!). It can only do so much though.

For those that have WD HDD's, Acronis True Image WD Edition is a must, I used it to clone my netbook's WD Scorpio Black to my Samsung 830 SSD when another cloning program failed to do it properly. Works great and is very simple to use. No registration needed.

I'll be checking out some of the suggestions on this thread, some very interesting things I didn't know about.
