Nvidia this time. 690 or Titan?

Hey all! I'm looking to replace my 2 6970's before BF4 drops. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 choices, 690 or Titan. Whatever I end up buying will be pared with a 2500k. Also, I'd like to get as close to 120hz as possible on my Benq 1920x1080 monitor and make the game look good doing it. What would you guys recommend? Is a 2500k even enough to get what I want? Thanks!

CF replaced with singe card or SLI ? anyway GTX 690 better.

A 690 at 1080p 120hz will do very well but I would never get a 690 at this point. It is $1,000 and you only have 2gb of vram and you really have no upgrade possibilities except another 690 which isn't a good idea either.

You are also very close to the 780 release so maybe wait until they release to make up your mind.

I would always reccomend a titan over a 690. if you get a good overclocker and flash a bios you will be almost equal to a stock 690.

Also with the titan you have a ton of upgrade options with adding more once prices drop.(if they ever do)

you will be able to get closer to 120fps with the 690 vs. 1 titan but you are talking about 2 gpu card vs. 1 gpu card. Gaming with one titan is so amazingly smooth. I went from 2 680's and started with one titan and I definitely noticed the difference. Single card is so much smoother.

I wouldn't upgrade at this point. Better to wait for the 700 series to drop and see what that has to offer.

It doesn't matter to me either way. Whatever does what I need it to.

That's why I figured I's ask before jumping in. The 690 is (relatively) old at this point. However the longer I wait, the more my current 6970's depreciate as well.

get a titan, you will be very impressed and happy. It will last you for a long time with 6gb vram and it is amazingly fast. if you are going to spend a grand on a video card I would get a titan.

But I will also say it might be worth it to wait a few weeks to see what the 780 can do. It could be an amazing card. Especially once non-reference 780's come out. Non-reference 780's I feel have a chance to be amazing cards with a gk110 chip and higher power and voltage limits.

Will it do close to 120hz on high-max settings?

So is the talk that the 780 would be just as good as Titan or 690? Or are you just speaking from an upgrade perspective?
