H100 will be louder than a air cooler and wont perform any better. It's mostly about aesthetics.

Because if your going closed loop watercooling, you go with swiftech or corsair. People who keep saying the corsair is louder then aircooler are obviously deaf, I have heard an air cooler with nice, gentle typhoon fans on it and it was still louder then my H100 with the stock fans and random in-win fans that came with the case. Plus you cannot beat the Corsair warrenty. IF it leaks, they not only replace the unit, but also anything that it takes with it.
