I just can't win, lol. rolleyes.gif Oh well, my birthday is coming up in a couple months, so maybe I'll hint around for a 6300 and an SSD biggrin.gif

In concerns to the PSU, I chose the 600 W because the 7790 is recommended to have a 500W, so it was mainly one of those "better safe then sorry" purchases. smile.gif

About the case, I'm going to be getting 2 green LED fans for it -- 1 to replace the blue fan in the front, and the other to be put in the back of the case. My dad is also in the middle of "modding" it for me a little bit by painting parts of the front lime green (my favorite color) and covering the remaining front parts of it with carbon fiber. Then he's going to paint the sides the same green. Going to get some lime green cable sleeves (eventually) as well. Heh, even still, I'm kinda envious because he just bought himself an Antec Six Hundred (which he is going to mod too) for his own build. It's got the biggest case fan (200mm) on top that I've ever seen, lol.

lol the 500w is aimed at psu's which blow up, any high quality 400w psu can easily handle that system

Rather have a better gpu then being impatient about a couple of seconds. As I said, ' Its not essential, the OP is not building a luxury rig. thumb.gif

That's a preference not to run a card on x4, not a marketing fault. This board is capable of running 4 GPUs, its up to the customer to decide whether they want to splurge in a better board for faster speeds

The x4 yes is preference but the quad GPU thing is bad advertising. They may as well claim it can do dual SLi as well seeing as you could stick a GTX690 in the X16 slot
