I'm surprised to see you mention the CM Storm Spawn though. Could you make a screenshot of you doing some some circles and lines in paint with this combination? I was skeptical about the ADNS-3090 and I-2 as I didn't have the best experiences and other people also reported jittery tracking on the I-2 with ADNS-3090 based mice.

Edit:- I have the black i-2

Thanks! That surprisingly really doesn't look bad. I would really love to see how other ADNS 3090 mice like the Zowie AM/FK or Roccat Savu work on the Icemat

@MONVMENTVM: What dpi setting do you use ingame/desktop?

Relatively high... around 2000 to 2600 DPI and in-game of 1.0 (or the lowest setting in most games) is the most ideal for me. But 1600 - 1800 DPI and setting the in-game sens a little higher is also no problem for me.

Ah ok, because afaik the icemat does not add any jitter. It takes at most the same characteristics (g400/DA3&3.5G/Zowie AM) compared to a cloth pad. See below:
DA Paint Pics! (Click to show)

What you need is not available on the market as it seems. redface.gif

Edit: Someone correct me, the krait 2013 & DA 2013 share the same sensor hardware/firmware. -> So the latest DA must be also affected by that smooth thing that the krait has, right? smile.gif

My Deathadder looks pretty smooth on a cloth pad but tends to jitter on the Icemat. But well... I haven't been gaming for quite a while now and for desktop use the Xai was fine enough. I'll finally get a non-2012 Mamba though just in case (been thinking about doing that for the last couple of years ^^). The tracking with FW 1.06 on the Icemat is just too incredible to miss out.

Ok... I've finally pulled the trigger on a non-2012 Mamba for 50 bucks including shipping. My Xai (that sucked for gaming anyway) started to double click and the mouse wheel is also starting to die so I finally got a reason to spend money on mice again xD. Lets hope that me and the Mamba's shape will become friends eventually... at least I know it's better than the Deathadder.

Here's the v1.06 firmware for the Mamba without Dynamic DPI Scaling in case someone wants to give it a try:

Just got my Zowie and I wanted to say, for future reference, that the Zowie EC1 eVo does indeed work just fine on the "icemat".

Really? That would be cool news indeed. Did you also test it at the higher DPI settings? What about jitter?

Which color I-2 do you have?
