How is it a rebrand?

Has more shaders, more vram, different clocks...

It is not a rebrand.

Yes 780m has More Vram, Faster Clocks. But Same Shaders

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-680mx/specifications

And

So IMO it's a rebrand with the same GK104.

The guy who wrote this 'article' just took the numbers from a leaked it168 review, but of course he forgot to mention that.
The GPU codename is not GK104-355, and the TDP is a pure speculation.

I hate to burst everyones bubble about the whole nvidia circlejerk here, Yes the 680mx is the fastest Mobile gpu, However it is ONLY found in the iMac, So it isn't exactly mobile meaning the 7970m is the current fastest "mobile" mobile gpu, When the 780m i speculate (Key word here, I bolded it for you too) that it too will only be in the iMac because i think the MXM 3.0 standard only "officially" supports up to 100 watts, Else we'd of found the 680mx in the M18x, And the N9150(I think it is) DTr's as they can certainly cool it.

680M is faster than a 7970M, 8970M will be around 6% faster than 680M and 10% faster than 7970M (according to AMD's own slides).

And the 780M on ebay was tested in an alienware laptop so I don't see why it wouldn't end in high end laptops. The AMD chips will still be found in much cheaper machines though.

Game-debate is a site i've frankly never heard of, and if alienware could of pulled off a 680mx in the current m18x series they would of, So i remain skeptical until i see an official unit retailing with one in it.

They already have full GK104, it is called 680MX, but it comes with lower clocks than 780m

680MX has 122w TDP

So, if it is just rebranded 680MX then how can they increase the clock speed and keep the TDP the same ? 780M look more efficient to me
