help with screen tear and screen flashing on wakeup.

Thread Starter
Im running a overclocked q6600 rig with nvidia 650ti card on a new hisense 55" led tv.

Im running into a couple issues with the display.

The first issue I think is just an issue with this tv but whenever I turn the tv on or wakeup the tv and its input is displaying video from my pc... the screen flashes over and over- showing my computers video for a sec then blacking out and repeating over and over like its having an issue picking up the video source input. Ive tried switching from vga to hdmi inputs on tv but still have the issue. Just wondering if anyones had a similar issue. I can always get it to work by turning tv off and on or switching source and switching back but wondering if this is damaging my tv.

The second issue im having is screen tear. Its not terribly bad in games like farcry 3 but when on netflix its just horrible. Ive turned vertsync on through nvidia control panel but it hasnt seemed to help any.

Im beginning to think its a refresh rate issue or just a downfall of using a bigger screen.
Any ideas on a way to fix this?

Thanks
