Good Soundcard for recording?

Thread Starter
I am a musician and I have fallen victim to the latency issue on W7/W8 when listening to the input device. I know to most this isn't a big deal, but it is to me because I have to be able to hear what I'm playing while I'm recording without having the delay of the integrated sound. Can anyone recommend me a decent card? I don't need much, just enough to record and game. Try to keep it under $30 please smile.gif

P.S: I don't care if it's PCI or PCI-e, i have plenty of both on my motherboard, check "Nehalermi" if you're curious about compatibility/setup for recording

P.S.S: I don't care if it is used, feel free to post ebay listings (try to keep it in America please)

Input is analog (from what? mic? mixer? what?), and not something like MIDI, I presume?

For $30 I think a used Soundblaster X-fi is your best bet.

Input has got to be standard 3.5mm of some kind if he has been using his integrated card tongue.gif.
