I second this. Did my last post get deleted? Maybe I posted it in the wrong thread.

metal409 is right, that sleeve does seem to be burned. I am not familiar with the heatshrinkless paracord sleeve method, but if it is the same as the regular sleeve, where you just melt the shrink and material under then it could be just super melty paracord. If not then there's a broken pin grounding in that connector at that spot

No Problem I understand completely, something similar happened to me to happened to me to, anyways I'm sure there are a lot more knowledgeable people here than me that can help you out of this. It probably is something simple, and someone is bound to have an answer.wink.gif

Very kind offer but it wont work, as stated the higher wattage layout is different.

i really appreciate that man, unfortunately "i dun goofed" and i need the pc running for work/school this week, tomorrow i'm going to have to make the dreaded purchase of a set of cables and see how fast i can get it shipped.. if i found the cables on performance-pcs i could get it within a day but at this point im stuck at moddiy.com and i know i cant afford expedited shipping

at the moment im just trying to find a 10+18 pin diagram of a seasonic x 750 so i can trace my whole sleeving and see if maybe for some odd reason i flipped or messed something up

That diagram posted earlier wasn't correct?

ON mine, the Green power on is the very bottom left plugin on the 8 pin mb modular connector = # 4 on atx 24
The black ground is the 4th over from left on top row of the 18 pin mb modular connector = # 5 on atx 24

Also, it is my understanding that you can use any ground, so looking at the power supply the 18 is the top modular plug and the 10 is bottom mb modular plug so....
to jump would be the bottom left and bottom right of the 10 pin plug.
